Privacy Policy
The Short Version (The Gist)
We built this website to be a simple, useful tool for musicians. We are not interested in your personal data. We don't have user accounts, we don't ask for your name or email, and we don't want to.
The tools you use (like the metronome) run in your browser. We don't see or store your settings (like your preferred BPM or time signature).
The YouTube-Sized Caveat (Third-Party Services)
This is the most important part: This website uses the embedded YouTube (Google) player.
When you paste a YouTube URL and use the player on our site, you are interacting directly with YouTube's services. We are just providing the window.
- By using the YouTube player on this site, you are agreeing to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service.
- Your use of the player is also subject to the Google Privacy Policy.
This means Google/YouTube will be aware of what you watch and may use cookies or other tracking methods, just as if you were on YouTube.com. We do not receive, see, or store any of this data. We have no control over it.
Analytics & Cookies
We may use simple, anonymous analytics (such as Vercel Analytics or a similar privacy-focused tool) to see how many people are visiting the site. This helps us know if the site is working or if we should just give up and learn the mandolin.
These tools do not collect personal information and do not track you across other websites.
Terms of Service
1. Use At Your Own Risk
This is a free collection of tools. We provide them "as-is" without any warranties. If the metronome is off by a millisecond and it throws off your whole practice session, we apologize, but we are not liable.
2. Don't Be a Menace
You agree not to use this website to:
- Attempt to hack, disrupt, or break the service.
- Embed or play content that is illegal, hateful, or violates YouTube's own Terms of Service.
- Do anything else that a reasonable person would consider "not cool."
3. The YouTube Thing (Again)
As mentioned, your use of the YouTube player is governed by YouTube's Terms of Service. If you don't agree with their terms, don't use the player.
